Our Saviour Evangelical
Please join us on Friday, December 15 for Christmas Carols in the neighborhood around Our Saviour Lutheran Church. We'll meet in the Parish Hall at 6:45 pm and will set out at 7:00. We'll make our way around the neighborhood and then meet again in the parish hall for cookies and hot chocolate. In addition to singers, we'd like as many musicians as possible. This is open to the entire community, so bring everyone you know!
Leaf raking: All who are able, please see Frya following this morning's worship service for further directions. Many thanks for volunteering to help keep our grounds in order.
Poinsettias order forms are available in the narthex and link tables. Please consider donating a poinsettia plant in honor or memory of a beloved one and at the same time help beautify our sanctuary for the Christmas season. The 7 inch poinsettias are $25 a plant.
Bible Study: For many people, the Bible as a whole can be intimidating. That's why it's helpful to have a guide. We are holding Saturday night bible studies at 7 pm. Join us! Expect an engaging and thought provoking evening, with stories, life applications, and your ideas as well. We will focus on the later chapters of the Gospel of Matthew, unlocking Jesus' parables. Bring a friend!
As you shop for the Baby Care Kits to be placed under the tree at Christmas Eve services, please remember that Lutheran World relief is very specific as to what the kits can contain. Please buy clothes that are sized 12 months, as they last longer. Also, please purchase only flat-fold diapers, which are more sanitary. Regular undershirts are preferred to onesies. Please purchase items for the kits in gender neutral colors (no pink, please).

If you have any allergies that interfere with receiving Holy Communion, especially gluten or Celiac disease, please inform the pastor. We have gluten-free wafers available.
The Flower Calendar is posted on the bulletin board in the link. Please sign up to sponsor altar flowers on the Sunday of your choice. The cost is $35. Checks should be made out to the church and designated "Altar Flowers". After the service, you may take the flowers home or contribute them to be taken to shut-ins or given to others.
Announcements must be sent to the church office by Wednesday morning for inclusion in the written "Announcements" insert of our Sunday bulletin.
