End of “redesigned for Covid” services

Good day siblings in Christ,

Just a reminder that tonight at 7:00 p.m. is our Ash Wednesday service as we begin the season of Lent.

This Sunday will be our last “redesigned for Covid” service with our guest musician Larry. I am a bit excited to return to what services used to look like, but have been reflecting on the changes Covid brought and figuring out how to learn and grow from the last two years. I just sat this week remembering this will be the last reshaped service for the time being. It is a bit awe inspiring that we are coming to the end of this phase.

There is a sign up sheet for those who would like to usher, read the lessons, or help with communion. Communion will use a pouring chalice rather than a common cup or intinction. We are also looking for individuals who would not mind cleaning the used cups at the end of service. This does not put you on altar guild, but you would be helping them a lot with this simple task.
