Good day siblings in Christ,
Welcome to week four of the five Bread of Life readings from John. So far, we’ve had Fry Bread, 5 Minute Bread, and last week was Focaccia. The focus has been on scarcity, seeing how God is working in our lives, and trusting in God. This week will be a very traditional bread, I hope you enjoy it.
September 8 will be the Blessing of Quilts and Kits. Come see the wonderful work our Lutheran World Relief quilters have been doing and the many collections we have done all year.
September 11, I will be participating in the three village 9-11 recognition by the 9-11 statue in Croton. Please join this solemn occasion.
In September, we will launch our online survey that we talked about in the spring. I go into it in detail in the September newsletter.
