I wanted to share 3 announcements from the community.
The first is Erich, a former member who helped design my office, had a house fire last week. There is a Gofundme set up to help with the costs of rebuilding. If you would like to help, I’m sure he would appreciate it.
Coming in July, I am leading a retreat for Faith, Syosset, NY on Evangelism at Koinonia. Members of our congregation are invited to attend too. You may contact me for further information. The cost is $252 per person for a shared room. If you want a solo room it is $100 more. This includes Saturday breakfast, lunch, dinner and Sunday breakfast. It is July 11-13th with arrival after dinner on Friday. Sunday morning worship is part of the program. Payment would go to Faith, not Koinonia.
Finally, one of our young adult’s band is playing the Green Growler on Friday March 28 at 7 p.m. Gabriel Berger’s metal band Defenstrate is one of the bands playing that night. You should like loud, growly metal if attending. 😀
